A Brilliant
Combination.
The Local Fry is the brainchild of husband and wife team Kevin & Elizabeth Irish. She grew up in Baltimore, and he is from Ireland. The pair met while Elizabeth was living in Europe. They married in 2010, and decided to move back to Elizabeth’s hometown of Baltimore. Since they have moved to Baltimore, they have been in the food industry.
The concept of The Local Fry was born when the couple visited Ireland after moving stateside. They realized that Baltimore didn’t have some of the foods that they craved. The Local Fry menu has many dishes inspired by the couple’s different cultures and travels around the world. The couple believe their extensive menu is a reflection of them – An Irish chip meets an American fry.
“I love that food creates moments and memories. I associate specific dishes and flavors with specific memories from my past or reminds me of certain people. And new food experiences create future memories. Food is such an integral part of life and life experiences.”

“Fries with toppings that range from cheese curds, Korean barbecue, and kimchi predictably anchor the menu, but banh mi, po’boys, rice bowls, and chicken wings (or tofu bites for a veg option) are also on tap.”
